Meet Joshua

I am Oak Park Dad, and with my wife Lauren, parent to three kids, one in OPRF, two in Julian. We’ve lived in South Oak Park for over a decade. We feel privileged to have been able to raise our children here.

I am a successful tech executive and entrepreneur, who founded a company to create a new source for local citizen journalism and citizen engagement. I currently serve on the Citizens Information Systems Commission (CISC) where we advise the Village Board on technology policy issues. 

As a Trustee, I'll bring a unique, non ideological approach that promotes our shared progressive values, while keeping Oak Park a place our kids will be able to afford. I am pro-bike, pro-transit, pro-housing, pro-business development, and I cherish the diversity and inclusiveness of Oak Park. I will prioritize our local issues, respect our regional leadership and impact, and continue to push Oak Park to live up to our values.
